Although research shows that users do like to scroll (reference here); personally I would avoid it as much as possible if “back to top” option is not provided.
Based on that premises, I had done a quick wireframe of my not-so-much-scrolling-needed version of the apple store customize product configuration checkout page.

I’m looking to start my own blog in the near future but I’m having a difficult time choosing between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal. I use wordpress, you can install different framework/themes under the root folder to make the design look different.
